I have written letters, and sent emails to repubs, and Democrats, to please support this bill!!!! The Democrats have been most gracious. Most giving their support for the bill. The repubs on the other hand, have been either smug, non responsive, or spewing their own biased reasons for not supporting the bill. It is like the repubs are not even listening to the wants and needs of the American people!! In 2012, we need to clean government free of all do nuthin repubs!!!!

England, France, Germany, italy, Canada, Cuba, etc. So if you Native Americans have a badly run, on purpose, single payer system, yes I can understand your complaint, but when it is properly run it is the best system in the world, especially if you want universal healthcare! That’s nonsense. In fact, although this health care bill is disappointing (it doesn’t go nearly far enough), better health care helps everyone, Amish, factory workers, storekeeps, etc. Were it to bring us to Canadian or European standards, it would help us far more.

Make no mistake, when given the choice between God or Country, God is still the winner! Ever wonder why Mr. Obama has insisted that America is no longer a Christian nation? Is it because by making a positive theological statement, he aligns himself with the religious communities and thereby the agenda of National Health-care would be stymied.

Some believe in Obama (cult of personality) and believe that money grows from trees in Washington (wealth being created by printing money). Maybe the redistributing of wealth is the ideal in other countries, but in America, citizens want choices, freedoms, and opportunities to be self-reliant.

Read the Constitution…Read the Declaration; do you see Healthcare, Social Security, Food Stamps, Medicare, Public Housing…any of those in their?….NO.
Why not?…because you see these words…PEACE, LIBERTY, PROSPERITY, REPUBLIC…These do not exist with the above mentioned wealth transfer “entitlement” programs…in quotes because NOONE in entitled to another mans labor nor wealth…noone.
I’m entitled to have the government give me health insurance. I’m interested in what the country can do for me. I don’t care about America or its economy or whether people have jobs. I just want to know what the country can do for me.
What I said below is a reply to the comments of geofiles. The legacy of Truman and Kennedy is for democrats to actually do the right thing for the people and not just pretend to for political expediency. That is the legacy Obama is advocating so what’s not to like. Except it may not go far enough for some people, its at least not extreme and its a step in the right direction. No one ( well, maybe insurance companies) stands to lose by these, rather more stands to gain from it and that’s a fact!
